I just purchased my first magazine subscription. I had not been able to do so until this point because I was moving around so much. Throughout college and the past few interim years, I told myself, “all this moving will calm down soon, and when it does, I’ll subscribe to a magazine.” I decided I would pick which one when the time came.
I chose Wired Magazine. When I was little, my parents subscribed. I remember loving the florescent pages and the matted texture. The magazine’s design got me reading articles in late elementary school. I’ve heard claims here and there that the quality of Wired has suffered since the 90s, but I’m willing to give it a shot.
Funny I’d be chosing this magazine for its element of nostalgia.

My dad always had Wired when I was a kid. Touching the pages – It did have a nice feel to it.
